SCHNAUZER
BLESSINGS
Angels touch
us in so many ways and we are blessed by so many things in our lives.
This
page was created for you to read the wonderful stories that have been sent
to us about what a difference our special "Schnauzer Angels" have made
in the new homes they have gone to!! We hope as you've been
reading thru our website, that you have felt a little blessing of your
own by just visiting, reading and viewing our pages. Maybe, you have even
thought of a special story about how an "Angel" has touched your
life. If so, please go to our "Fairytale" page and post it to share with
the rest of us. We have provided this page just for that purpose.
You never know, by posting your own story, how it may serve as a blessing
to someone in need.
So,
as you continue your visit, we pray that you feel the blessings and inspirations
of others. Below are "our" customers' special stories about how God
has touched their lives with their very own "Schnauzerland Angel".
Dear Barbara,
Thank you for putting your
wonderful schnauzers in my life! There is something I want to tell you
about me to let you know you have been
a huge blessing in my life!
What you don't know is that
I have absolutely no family in this world. I was raised in an orphanage
and I still have contact with some of the other kids I grew up with, but
I have this line drawn in my mind that GOD put me here to be alone and
because of it I suffer a considerable amount of depression. Because
of the way I grew up, I have a pretty significant and odd mean streak.
I have very few friends and I am grateful for the ones I have. I
am not an easy man, but I care about my heart and I enjoy sharing it with
others and I have to work hard, very hard to not be such an asshole.
But, I do realize that this is only a wall that I have errected and
I have installed doors and windows in it (metaphorically) in an effort
to open up and function and deal with the world because I don't want to
be alone! The dogs that I have gotten from you (although I don't
have Hammer yet, it still counts) have provided me with the ability to
open up. I don't have to rely on my mustering up a civil courage
to meet people, Alaska draws people to me/ us with her beauty and wiggley
ways. She through you is my gift from GOD. No more do I feel
hated by him (GOD) and Friday I will receive another gracing from above,
named Hammer. I count the gifts as such:
1. The
sense to realize that there was more than sadness out there for me.
2. The
ability to see through 42 + years of anger and hurt feelings. (I
found out in 1992 that I was the thirteenth kid to my mother and the only
one to be given up!)
3. The
ability to seek a change
4. Finding
SCHNAUZERLAND and you allowing me to make payments (a fantastic blesing
in itself)
5. Meeting
ALASKA and realizing that I could not have picked a better peuppy if I
had come to Gray, TN myself. You did outstanding and I cry
sometimes when I look at her and see that she loves me back. Truely amazing
to me !
6. Being
able to afford another one of your miricales.
7. The
ability to not be ashamed of myself anymore by thinking that something
was defective in me as a reason for being given up.
So you see absolutely everyone
knows and I tell GOD often that there is a big set of hearts in little
Gray, Tennessee.
Well now that I have given
you a bit of insight into me and my idiosycrencies I will go dry my eyes
as this letter has envoked a bit of a cry!
Again thank you!

It's
been about three months since I've talked to you, but Monty is doing great.
He
is the most wonderful dog/companion. He continues to get bigger.
He has managed to make it all this long time (6 mo.) without chewing anything
up in the house. He is very well behaved and has a great personality.
I get stopped a hundred times every time we go to Petsmart or walking in
the neighborhood. I can't begin to remember how many compliments
he has received. He is such a beautiful dog.
Sincerely,

Dear Barbara:
My sweet "Allie" that we
picked up from Schnauzerland on May 10, 2003 is a
pure delight. Allie-Gator
is my pet name for her. She turned 7 months old
on September 2, 2003 and
she has the sweetest disposition and is a very
loyal pet. She does
not bark very much and we probably had her
approximately 2 months before
we heard her say anything. She bonded very
quickly with my husband
and I but she is my girl. Around 9:30 at night she
is ready for bed and it
doesn't matter where I am or what I am doing she
comes to me and sits at
my feet and gives me her "can we go to bed now"
look. I usually lay
down with her on the couch until she falls asleep.
When I take her to the vet,
other animal owners cannot believe she is still
puppy stage because she
sits on my lap and never approaches the other
animals there. She
has the proudest stance. She was house trained within a
short period of time.
I'm so glad that you took the time to answer my one
line e-mail because I don't
feel like she could have been placed with anyone
who could love her anymore
than we do.
She is a beautiful dog and
we're so glad she belongs to
us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks so much,
Letha C. Reed

Dear Barbara,
Mikey is such a joy. He has been the best puppy yet. We love
him so much.
He is paper-trained, but
goes outside too. He loves to be around people, and
doesn't know a stranger.
He whines all the time just to get attention. He is so
funny.
Thanks for everything you have done for our family and letting us have
Mikey.

Thank You so much for picking out Sampson and getting him to us here in PA. We have a 4 yr old daughter who is in remission with Cancer along with 2 other daughters and Sampson was just what we were looking for. He is the most loving caring dog that I have ever seen. We also have a miniture schnauzer and Noah loves him too. When he turns 1 we are going to have him tested for a pet therapy dog and go to the hospital where my daughter was admitted for 3 weeks. Maybe we can give back to the sick kids what the pet therapy gave to us while we were there. He was the perfect match for our family all thanks to Barbara. You have done a wonderful job raising him to the point were we got him. You are an Angel and you raise Angels on Earth. May God Bless you and your wonderful Schnauzer family. We absolutely love this Giant Breed of Dog with such a Giant Heart. There truely is no other animal like them!!!!
