Puppy will be examined by a veterinarian prior to shipping for a state health certificate which will accompany the puppy on upon arrival. This certificate will state that the puppy, in their opinion, is in good health and be able to withstand temp. below 60 degrees for being put on a plane.

The EXCEPTION to this Warrantee is any  communicable and  non-communicable diseases after the initial 48 hours of ownership. In the event that such a defect or illness should appear, upon verification by a qualified veterinarian within the time frame allowed , the Breeder shall replace this puppy as soon as one becomes available. It is agreed that the “value” of the dog is limited to the purchase price of the puppy as indicated herein.  This clause will be declared null and void upon any evidence of abuse or neglect.  To remain in effect, this dog must receive annual veterinary checkups and treatment as prescribed. Defects which commonly manifest in geriatric dogs, such as deafness or blindness, are excluded from this clause.

The Owner:

Agrees to maintain preventative health care of the puppy including, but not limited to inoculation and internal as well as external parasites.

Agrees to feed the puppy premium dog food such as  Dick Van Patton Natural Balance,  Bil Jac, Wellness,  Wysong, Innova, Eukanuba, or other premium holistic, natural balanced nutritional dog food along with the diet that Breeder sends with puppy, failure to feed this puppy correctly forfeits Breeder’s health guarantees. If you find a food that you prefer, be sure the first ingredient is meat. Look for a food that doesn't have corn or at least it is listed as the 3rd ingredient. I prefer to feed my schnauzers a premium food with no corn, wheat or fillers. I personally feed my companion schnauzers the Dick Van Patton Natural Balance Ultra. Most of the dog foods on the market has the first ingredient listed as corn. This is not acceptable as a complete food. We recommend that you feed your giant puppy lots of raw meat and bone.  Our puppies will be eating this diet when they arrive at their new home, this diet is ESSENTIAL for the proper growth and bone development of this puppy.

Understands that Breeder requires that the companion pet Female giant schnauzer puppy is not to be spayed until after her first cycle and she is between 18 and 24 months of age.

Owner’s initials to reading this requirement.

Agrees that any and all transportation costs, to and/or from the Breeder’s premises, will be at the cost and sole responsibility of the Owner.

Agrees that he/she is not acting as or on behalf of an agent in the purchase of this puppy and that the Owner will not sell or give the puppy to any agent or pet store or other owner.

Agrees that if at any time the Owner cannot keep the dog or is forced to find it another home, the Breeder will be contacted immediately.  The Breeder will endeavor or assist in finding suitable home where the dog can be placed.  There is no guarantee that the dog will be sold in such circumstances, but may be re-homed to suitable owners free of charge, if approved by the Breeder.  Under NO circumstances may this dog be disposed of at a pound, humane society, animal  shelter, pet store, breeder, or any individual associated with a puppy mill.  In the event of no suitable re-homing option being available, the Owner shall return the dog to the Breeder, who will care for it until a suitable home is found.  The dog’s AKC registration papers must also be surrendered, and the Owner agrees to transfer ownership to the Breeder.

Agrees that the Breeder may repossess the animal upon evidence of neglect and/or abuse at no expense to the Breeder, and no refund of any monies.

This puppy is sold with the understanding that it will be a “member of the family”, and will receive good care, attention, nutrition and socialization.

Agrees to inform the Breeder if the dog dies due to natural or any other cause, or has to be euthanized for medical reasons.  This information is statistically valuable to the Breeder.

Agrees to inform the Breeder of any changes to address or phone number.

This agreement is made and signed by both parties to ensure the well being and protection of this dog and may only be cancelled or amended by the mutual consent - in writing - of the parties hereto.
